What is the product pricing?

Our prices range from 1.5 million to 9.5 million. With financing, you pay a 30% deposit and 1.6% interest

3kW inverter / 1.3kWh battery – single phase- 1,560,000 cash or 468,000 deposit + 1.6% interest per month

3kW inverter / 2.4kWh battery – single phase- 1,995,000 cash or 598,500 deposit + 1.6% interest per month

3kW inverter / 5kWh battery – single phase- 3,540,000 cash or 1,062,000 deposit + 1.6% interest per month

5kW inverter / 10kWh battery – single phase- 6,580,000 cash or 1,974,000 deposit + 1.6% interest per month

5kW inverter / 15kWh battery – single phase – 9,570,000 cash or 2,871,000 deposit + 1.6% interest per month

15kW inverter / 15-90kWh battery – tri-phase – modular design => price depends on the number of modules

Technical Questions

 What does the inverter size mean?

The maximum power the system can provide for the prolonged number of hours 

How can one calculate the load the inverter can carry?

Rought estimation: You can sum the power of all appliances used at the same time by the client. 

Precise Approach (needed for a reliable desire): Oolu has made it easy for customers to calculate the capacity load of each appliance to be carried by the Inverter, The load calculator is very easy to use, and you can access it on our website @oolusolar.ng.

What does the battery capacity mean?

it is the amount of energy stored in the battery that can be used to power appliances (electric loads) when the power from solar panels is not sufficient (e.g. at night)

What is the battery technology you use?

we use Lithium LFP technology: this is the best battery technology for solar applications because it allows for a compact battery (it does not use a lot of space), it has a long lifetime (between 5 to 10 years => you don’t need to replace the battery every 3-9 months like for Lead Acid!), it can operate in a wide temperature range -40ºC to +50ºC (you don’t need to use air conditioning for the battery room like you should do for lead acid battery), no risk of fire or explosion. => This is the same battery tech used by Tesla on their newest electric cars! 

How many solar panels do I need?

The number of solar panels can vary and we can install more or less (as the system is flexible and modular) depending on the hours when energy is used, the system battery and inverter capacity, and the roof space for the installation

What is the type of solar panels you use?

we use high-quality 400-500Watt solar panels with mono or multi-crystalline technology 

What is the warranty on your products?

OOLU includes in the offer 2 years of warranty on all the components but the clients have also an extra warranty from the manufacturer (PV panel: 80% of power output is guaranteed for 10 years, hybrid inverter and lithium battery: up to 5 years of additional warranty) 

What is your after-sales policy?

OOLU technicians will monitor remotely the site and intervene in case of an issue. our call center will also be available to support and troubleshoot and answer any questions. 

OOLU can also provide (for a small fee: N2,000/kWp with a minimum of N15,000/visit) regular inspections to clean solar panels and all the equipment to ensure optimal operations.

Can I monitor performance remotely?

Yes, you can monitor the performance of your system using a mobile app (connecting via Bluetooth)

Financing Questions.

How much is financing?

If you want to buy with financing, you will pay a 30% deposit of the cash price and an interest rate of 1.6% per month. Financing is available from 3 months to 36 months. The financing is provided by our partner SunFi, and you will share loan documentation with them for credit approval.

What do I need to qualify?

SunFi will request your bank statements and X information to process your request. They will approve within 48 hours of your submission.

Is there an available subsidy on the products?

Yes, our products currently receive a subsidy from the Universal Energy Facility (UEF) from Sustainable Energy 4 All (SE4All). Funding is provided by governments and international institutions to accelerate the adoption of quality solar solutions. This funding is only available for a short time and prices will increase by at least 30% when it is over.

How does the energy audit process work?

The energy Audit process is a simple process where our technical team would interact with you so as to better understand your energy needs and propose a tailored solution for your needs. Our agent would visit your location to get a better understanding of your requirements and capture your energy requirements with our energy audit form. This would then be evaluated by our technical team during a phone call with you. The energy audit process would end with a sign-off from you on the energy audit form to confirm your agreement with the recommendation of our technical team.

It is important the energy audit process is done well and with direct contact with the client to make sure we provide a system that works according to the client’s expectations.

How does the credit approval work?

We work with various credit approval partners, who would validate your credit rating and approve you for financing. Once we have concluded the financing option that best suits your needs; you would be registered on the credit platform to provide all the required financial documents.  Response to your loan request would be received within 24 hours.

How does it work for delivery and how long does it take?

After confirmation of payment, the product is packaged for dispatch within 1-3 days (depending on the location/distance from Lagos). The product will get to your location within 5 working days post dispatch from our technical office.

How does it work for installation and how long does it take?

After we deliver the product to your location, our team would get in touch with you to schedule the installation within a 48 hours window.

Your product would be available for use within 72 hours post delivery.

How does after-sales work?

This includes installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement services. We are committed to providing you with the best customer experience possible.

We are committed to assigning a technician to your case and getting your issues resolved remotely within 72 hours of calling our customer support line. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely we would deploy a technician to your location to either fix or retrieve the product within another 72 hours.
